Irving Kass, formerly of Livingston, died at his home in Delray Beach, Florida on September 16, following a long illness.
Mr. Kass was born in 1930 in Jersey City and was married to Barbara (Spector) Kass for 67 years. He was the father of Steven Kass, the father-in-law to Debbie Kass and Seth Mendelson, and the grandfather of four. He was predeceased by his daughter, Donna (Kass) Mendelson, and his brother, Edward.
Agraduate of Snyder High School in Jersey City, Mr. Kass earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from New York University.
Mr. Kass co-founded Rothstein Kass in 1959, retiring from it in 1995. His philanthropic activities included serving as a chairman of Israel Bonds for the Metrowest community.
Services were livestreamed on Wednesday, September 21, with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, followed by burial at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.
