Elizabeth (Liz) Kinsey, née Merkle, died on Monday, September 5, from GBM, a brain tumor.
Born in New Jersey on March 29, 1942, Mrs. Kinsey attended Livingston High School, where she met her husband.
After graduating college, she lived in New Zealand and Australia before moving to Manchester Center, Vermont. She became a chicken farmer when the family established an animal farm in 1982.
Mrs. Kinsey is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jim, and their sons, Kelly (Kelley), Geoff (Tina), and Andy (Jennifer); seven grandchildren; and a brother, sistersin- law, and brothers-in-law. Mrs. Kinsey was preceded in death by one of her brothers.
A celebration of her life will be held in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel in Cumming, Georgia, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 25.
