Former Resident Marilyn Leifer Dies

Former Livingston resident Marilyn Leifer died on February 9. She was 88 years old. Mrs. Leifer was born on January 16, 1929, to Betty and Harry Kerner of Irvington. In 1950, she married Aaron Leifer of the Bronx, who died in 2008. Mrs. Leifer raised her three children, Leslee Feldman and Aimee Carpenter of Beverly Hills, California, and Neil Leifer of Newton, Massachusetts, in Livingston. She later lived in Boca Raton, Florida and Beverly Hills. She is also survived by three grandchildren. Donations in her memory may be made to ebkids.org.
