Vincent J. Pastena Dies on September 8

Vincent J. Pastena of Verona, formerly of Livingston and Bloomfield, died at the age of 77 on Thursday, September 8. A 1961 graduate of Cornell University, Mr. Pastena was a senior editor at Golf Magazine, where he worked for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Pastena is survived by his children, Danielle (Michael) Genovese of West Orange, formerly of Livingston; four grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren; and his sister, Adeline Kuenzler. He was predeceased by his parents, Vincenza and Adolf Pastena. The family suggests that donations be made to Seton Hall Preparatory School, 120 Northfi eld Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052. Arrangements were by Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home.
