Funeral Services Held For Kenneth L. Burch

Former Livingston resident Kenneth L. Burch, 87, died on October 21 in Allentown, Pennsylvania after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. A graveside service was held on October 25. Mr. Burch was born in Jamestown, New York on November 27, 1928 to the late Alice (Alberg) and Roy Burch. After high school graduation, he served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1949 and was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. Later he was graduated from Hempstead Diesel School on Long Island. After working for The Newark Evening News, Mr. Burch was a delivery driver for The New York Times. He retired in 1986 and moved from Livingston to Ephrata, Pennsylvania. Mr. Burch is survived by his wife of 60 years, Doris (Todd) Burch of Allentown; his daughters, Linda Harlan (Timothy) of Citra, Florida, and Janice Trocino (Gary) of Livingston; a granddaughter; and sisters, Louise Wright (Thad) of Eden, North Carolina; Lois Bowder (Adrian) of Falconer, New York; Kathy Burch of Lakewood, New York; and Becky Fitzpatrick (Matt) of Ashville, New York. He was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Swanson and Barbara Miller. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 617 Main Street, Hellertown, PA 18055, or to an animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
