Albert J. Romano, 84, died Sunday, December 2, in Livingston. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 8, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Quinn- Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston. The funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church, Livingston, with entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Mr. Romano had been a resident of Livingston for the past 56 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He later attended the Pratt Institute in New York, then worked for Allied Chemical and Merck Pharmaceutical. Mr. Romano was predeceased by his wife, Joan, and his sister, Francesca Kokoszka. He is survived by his children, Albert, Joan, John, Stephen, Robert, and James; his sister, Leonarda Neilson; and ten grandchildren. Irwin Halper of Verona, formerly of Livingston, died Wednesday, November 28. Funeral services were held the following day at Temple B’nai Abraham in Livingston, followed by interment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Arrangements were under the direction of the Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. He was the founder of I. Halper Paper and Supplies of Bayonne. Mr. Halper was the husband of Vicki Halper and his late wife, Donna Halper; the father of Tara Halper and Jaret Keller, Matthew and Erin Halper, and Andrew and Heather Halper; the stepfather of Justin and Tali Panetz, and Heather Panetz; the brother of Robert Halper, Jane and Steven Eisenstat, and Carol and Arthur Amster; and the grandfather of eight.

Barry Gimelstob, of Harding Township and formerly of Livingston, died on October 26 at the age of 75. Born and raised in Newark, Mr. Gimelstob graduated from Weequahic High School and Long Island University. He coached three championship basketball teams at Newark's South Side High School (Shabazz), received two “Coach of the Year” honors and was elected to the Newark Athletic Hall of Fame. Mr. Gimelstob formed FBR Group, a financial advisory firm, in 1989, and was a supporter of the Valerie Fund, Shabazz High School and Newark Academy. He is survived by Patricia, his wife of 47 years; his three sons, Joshua, Justin, and Russell; and a grandson. Funeral services were held at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel. Felice “Phil” Picillo, 97, of Livingston, died Thursday, November 29. Visitation was held at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, on Sunday, December 2. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Philomena Church, Livingston, on Monday, December 3, followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Born in Caprilgia, Irprina, Italy, Mr. Picillo lived in Orange from 1954 to 1985 before moving to Livingston. He was a supervisor for the City of Orange, Department of Public Works, before retiring in 1986. He was also a part-time landscaper until the age of 90. Mr. Picillo was the husband of the late Giuseppina Picillo, and the father of Vincent Picillo (Yolanda), and Joanne DeNotaris (Joseph). Additionally, he is survived by four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Terry Boxer
Terry Boxer (nee Rubenfeld) of Whippany, N.J., formerly of Livingston, N.J., died December 9, 2018, in Morristown, N.J.
Mrs. Boxer was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and resided in Baltimore, M.D.; Forest Hills, N.Y.; and Livingston before moving to Whippany. She was an antiques dealer for over 40 years in Livingston before her retirement in 2000.
Mrs. Boxer was a lifetime member of Hadassah and active in B’nai Brith, both of Livingston. Also in Livingston, Mrs. Boxer was a member ofTemple Beth Shalom and past secretary of its Sisterhood.
Terry was the loving wife of the late Theodore Boxer and the devoted mother of Loretta (David) Kerstein and the late Susan Ann Boxer. She was the adored grandmother of Shari (Mike) Scheckman and Amy (Peter) Okun, and cherished great-grandmother ofAri, Talia, Eliana and Ethan.
Funeral services were conducted from Menorah Chapels at Millburn, 2950 Vauxhall Road, Union (Vauxhall), N.J., on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at 1 p.m. Interment took place in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, N.J.

Robert V. Harris, 72, of Livingston, died Wednesday, December 5. Visitation and a funeral service were held Monday, December 10, at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston.
Mr. Harris was born in Paterson to William and Concetta Hawryszczuk. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
He was the father of Robert Harris, Kristin Graziano (Thomas), Stacey Polito (Rick), and Michael Harris (Kellie); the brother of William Harris (Ina); and grandfather of eight grandchildren.

Patricia “Trish” Duffy, 65, of Livingston, died Monday, December 3. Visitation was held on Sunday, December 9, at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston. A funeral Mass was offered on Monday, December 10, at St. Philomena’s Church, Livingston, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Duffy was a lifelong resident of Livingston and member of St. Philomena Roman Catholic Parish. She attended St. Philomena’s grammar school (now known as Aquinas Academy), and later was graduated from East Orange Catholic High School. She then attended Mount Ida College and Montclair State University.
Mrs. Duffy worked as a realtor for 29 years, most recently at Coldwell Banker in Livingston, where she was recognized as aTopAgent in Livingston for many years. Some of her achievements included membership in the New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR) Circle of Excellence, the Diamond Society, and President’s Circle, and she was ranked in top four percent of realtors nationwide.
She was an active member in the Livingston community, volunteering for the Junior Lancers Football Organization, Livingston Little League, the Big L Club, the Livingston Bicentennial Picnic Committee, and the Project Graduation gift wrap booth committee, among others. She also served as president of the Livingston Chamber of Commerce.
Mrs. Duffy is survived by her husband of 29 years, Michael; her children, Casey Phelan (Christine), Corey Watson (Ryan), Kevin Duffy (Bianca), and Tim Duffy; her siblings, Bobby Keogh, Tommy Keogh, Maddy Keogh and Liz Keogh; her brother-in-law, Joe Duffy (Carol); her sister-in-law Patty Duffy; and six grandchildren.

John A. Pannucci, 93, a former Livingston resident and a 30-year resident of Manchester, died at his son’s home on Sunday, December 10. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 14, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals in Toms River. Mr. Pannucci was born in Orange and lived in Livingston before moving to Manchester. He also spent 25 years wintering in Delray Beach, Florida. He was a long-time parishioner of St. Philomena Church in Livingston and St. John’s in Lakehurst.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Pannucci was a computer systems analyst and programmer for the Department of the Army. He was a member of the Leisure Village West Bocce Club, the Italian-American Club, and various computer clubs.
A veteran of World War II, he served from 1944 to 1945, and was deployed overseas as anArmy sergeant in Company B, 91st Chemical Mortar Battalion.
Mr. Pannucci was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Marie Pannucci; his son, Joseph Pannucci; his grandson, Johnny Pannucci; his brothers, Danny, Nicky, Leonard, and Louis; and his sisters, Anne Korczukowski and Grace Grasso.
He is survived by his sons, John A. Pannucci Jr., and his wife, Pamela, and Phillip Pannucci and his wife, Judit; his daughter-in-law, Helen Pannucci; his sisters, Antoinette Pannucci and Rosie Winters; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Grace Monaghan
Grace Monaghan, formerly of Livingston, passed away on December 9, 2018. She died peacefully as a resident of Seabrook Extended Care Facility in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, one week short of her 101st birthday.
She is survived by five sons: Dennis of Raquette Lake, New York and Sebastian, Florida; Jay of Manasquan, New Jersey; Patrick of Houston,Texas; Joseph ofToms River, New Jersey; and Thomas of Landenberg, Pennsylvania. Her son William, formerly of West Orange, passed away in 2001.
Grace leaves behind seven grandchildren and five-great grandchildren and one on the way. In addition to her sons, Grace also leaves daughters-in-law Mary, Gwen, Maryann and Patti.
Grace graduated from St. Vincent's Academy in 1935. She and Jim were married in 1940 and resided in Belleville before moving to Livingston in 1952.
They were active in the St. Philomena's parish where Grace frequently sang at weddings and church functions.As a team, Grace and Jim produced local musical theatre presentations for a number of years, with annual performances at the high school.
Jim was transferred by DuPont to Wilmington, Delaware prior to retirement and they spent several years in Newark, Delaware before heading to Siesta Key, Florida, where they enjoyed beachfront living prior to Jim's passing in 1996. Grace became a resident of Seabrook in 2005.

George B. Meyers of Barnegat, formerly of Livingston, died Wednesday, December 12. He was 91 year old. 12, 2018.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 14, at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home old Livingston. A funeral Mass was offered on Saturday, December 15, at St. Raphael’s Church, Livingston, with entombment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
Mr. Meyers was born in South River. After graduating from St. Benedict’s Prep School, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He then went to college at Fordham University, graduating in 1950. He worked as vice president, claims, for the Motor Club of America in Newark, and then Preserver Insurance Company in Paramus.
He was the husband of Frances Meyers for 64 years; the father of Gail, Lauren, Kim, and the late Mark Meyers. He was also a grandfather of four and a great-grandfather as well.
Funeral Mass Held For Michael J. Bonder
Michael Bonder of Livingston died on Wednesday, December 12. He was 45 years old.
Dr. Bonder grew up in Livingston and graduated from Seton Hall Prep in 1991. He received a bachelor of science degree in physics from James Madison University. For his master’s degree, he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and then the University of Salford in Manchester, England as a Joule Scholar, where he was awarded his Ph.D.
While on the physics faculty at the University of Delaware, Dr. Bonder was granted a patent in the area of magnetic nanoparticles.
He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and John J. Bonder; his brother, David Bonder (Brooke); his grandfather, John Bonder; and other family members.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Philomena Church on Monday, December 17. Funeral arrangements were made by the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home.

Gertrude “Trudy” Schulman Brenner, 71, of Livingston and Belmar, died on December 13.
Funeral services were held at Bernheim-Apter-KreitzmanSuburban Funeral Chapel on December 16.
Mrs. Brenner was born to the late Samuel Schulman and Anna Schulman, and grew up in Irvington. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Brenner, and her sister, Thelma Goldfinger. She is survived by a sister, Beatrice Blau; a brother-in-law, Richard Goldfinger; and other family members.
Donations in Mrs. Shulman’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Mr. Ventola was born in Newark to Samuel and Mary Ventola. He was the founder and owner of All County Sewer and Drain Service.
He was predeceased by his three siblings, Samuel Ventola, Ida Parrillo, and Margaret Corbo. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Ventola; his children, Nicholas Ventola (Maureen), Dean Ventola (Janet), Lisa Picillo (William), Jill Fuccello (Tom), and Gary Ventola (Jennifer); ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Paul Salvatore Falcone Jr. of Naples., Florida, a former resident of Livingston and Randolph, died on Wednesday, December 19, following a brief illness. He was 73 years old.

Mr. Falcone was born on November 14, 1945, in Orange. He was graduated from Livingston High School and Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa. He operated a recruiting business for years, placing professionals in positions at corporations nationwide.
He raised his family in Randolph and resided in New Jersey all his life until recently retiring to Naples.
In addition to his wife of 42 years, Janet, he is survived by his children, Michael (Jane) and Peter, and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Falcone of Livingston.

Ruth L. Schram died in her Livingston home on Friday, December
21. She was 91 years old.
Born and raised in Newark, Mrs. Schram was a graduate of Weequahic High School in Newark. She owned Seymour’s Luncheonette in Livingston with her husband for 22 years. She was also a member of the Corporal Arthur W. Smith Veterans of Foreign WarsAuxiliary, Post 2856, in Livingston.
Mrs. Schram was predeceased by her husband, Seymour Schram, in 2002. She is survived by her son, Barry Schram.
Services were conducted by the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel of Livingston.

Mass Offered Saturday For Annamarie Rossi
Annamarie Rossi, 94, of Livingston, died Tuesday, December 18. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, December 22, at St. Joseph’s Church in Forest City, Pennsylvania. Arrangements were by the Jones & Brennan Funeral Home of Forest City.
Ms. Rossi was born to Bernard and Mary Baranowski on May 18, 1924, in Forest City. She was graduated from Forest City High School in 1942 and moved to New Jersey, where she worked for General Electric.
She married Joseph Rossi of Orange in 1949, and raised five children, Louis, Bernard, Joann, Annmarie, and Joseph. During that time, she did the bookkeeping for the family paint and wallcovering store, Rossi’s, in Orange. From 1976 to 1986, she ran Rossi Decorating Center in Cedar Grove.
She was a parishioner of St. Philomena and St. Raphael Roman Catholic Churches in Livingston.
Ms. Rossi was predeceased by her brother, Bernard Baranowski, and his wife, Dolores. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Amelia and Jill Rossi, John Petroccia and Jeffrey Lorine, along with 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial Visitation Held For Lorraine T. O’Neill
Lorraine T. O’Neill (nee Tichenor) died Tuesday, December 18. A memorial visitation was held at the LaMonica Memorial Home of Livingston on Saturday, December 22.
Born in Orange, Ms. O’Neill moved to Livingston in 1959, where she remained for the past 59 years.
She was a member of the Livingston Woman’s Club and the Eastern Star.
She was the mother of Kevin, Keith, and the late Kenneth O’Neill; motherin-law of Debra and Kathy O’Neill; the sister of the late Doris Dean; the grandmother of nine; and the greatgrandmother of six.
