Mildred A. Isherwood, 83, died on Saturday, September 17. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, September 22, at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 48 Tranquility Road, County Route 517, Andover. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery in Andover. Arrangements were by Cochran Funeral Home in Hackettstown. Mrs. Isherwood was born on May 10, 1933, in Irvington, the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Decker) Ash. She was also predeceased by her brother, William P. Ash. Mildred grew up in South Orange and moved to Livingston as an adult before moving to Panther Valley 25 years ago. She owned Mildred A. Isherwood Library Services in Allamuchy. She is survived by her husband, James F. Isherwood; three sons, James D. "Jay" Isherwood and his wife Christina; Brian W. Isherwood; and Darryl R. Isherwood and his wife Dana; a brother, Charles "Buddy" Johns and his wife Cathy; and four grandchildren.
