Dr. Eugene Samojlik, 83, died at home in Livingston on Tuesday, September 13. A service was held at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home. Dr. Samojlik was born in Kuchmy, Poland and received his Ph.D. in endocrinology in Warsaw, Poland. He was an endocrinologist with Beth Israel Medical Center, and with UMDNJ, in Newark, before retiring in 2010. He was predeceased by his wife, Anna Samojlik. Dr. Samojlik is survived by his children, Dorothy and her husband William Muise; and Michael and his wife Kelly Samojlik; and three grandchildren.
