Mitchell Orlowsky Dies at Age 53

Mitchell Orlowsky, 53, of Livingston, who was currently residing in Dallas, Texas, died October 25. He was 53 years old. Mr. Orlowsky was born on April 25, 1963, in Irvington. He was the son of Seymour and Rhoda Orlowsky. He is survived by his former wife and author, Kathleen Kent; his son, Josh Orlowsky, of Dallas, Texas; his mother, Rhoda; and his sisters, Ilene Muething and Janice Orlowsky. A graduate of Rutgers University, Mr. Orlowsky founded and served as chief executive officer for several internet software companies. He was a frequent speaker at financial service conferences, and wrote for banking publications. He was also a lecturer in entrepreneurship at Southern Methodist University for nine years.
