William Waldron

William (Bill) Waldron, 72, passed away on August 9, 2016 in Glendale, Arizona after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill was born on December 17, 1943 in Orange, New Jersey, to the late George and Harriet Waldron. After High School, Bill proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. After his time in the Marine Corps, he returned to Livingston, New Jersey and became a letter carrier until he retired. He was a member of the Elks and enjoyed the camaraderie of meeting the guys after work. He moved to Arizona in 2005. Bill is survived by his brothers, James (Elaine), and Michael (Debra); his sister-in-law, Eileen; and his brother-in-law, Martin Balassone. He is also survived by four nieces and eight nephews who would make him light up whenever they were around. Bill was preceded in death by his sisters, Harriet Balassone and Katherine Mindo; and his brother, George. A visitation was held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, Peoria, Arizona, with a funeral service immediately following. Graveside services with military honors were subsequently held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
