Frank X. Dietrick, 83, a longtime resident of Livingston, died on August 10. Arrangements were by the Leonardis Memorial Home, Florham Park. Mr. Dietrick was born and raised in Pittston, Pennsylvania, prior to moving to Livingston. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired after many years as a foreman for the Livingston Recreation Department. He was the husband of Maria T. (Antonelli) for 56 years. He was the father of Deborah D'Angelo, and her husband, Angelo; Louise Primavera and her husband, Louis; Rob Dietrick, Anneliese Dietrick, and the late Frank Dietrick, Jr. He is also survived by six grandchildren. Mr. Dietrick was the last surviving of nine siblings. The family has suggested that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
